Century 21 / John Edwards
Website Design for Caribbean Resort Development
Project of 6
The Parrot Tree Plantation is a luxury development on the Caribbean island of Roatan. Relatively undiscovered, Roatan is the largest of the Honduran Bay Islands. Its proximity to the second largest barrier reef makes it perfect for snorkeling, diving and fishing.
Planned as both a residential neighborhood and integrated resort, the plantation will include condos, villas, and a luxury hotel centered around a marina and private beach. Manmade was hired to design the promotional website for the resort.
We worked with Century 21/John Edwards and their development team to define a flexible information architecture for the new website that would enable it to grow with the development.
Sweeping aerial photography of the resort provides the backdrop to the website, and immediately shows the advantages of this unique location. The focal point of each page is a photo slideshow that the Century 21 team can simply and easily update.
Throughout the site, icons and design details reference the Mediterranean and Spanish colonial influences in the resort architecture.
