Moddler is a 3D printing company that serves the film, visual effects and video game industries. They construct incredibly detailed physical models based on their clients’ 3D files.
When launching the company, the founders needed a web site that would clearly communicate the company’s offering while differentiating them from both the competing methods of model manufacture and the companies that provide them.
The definition of Moddler models is astonishing and their differentiator is the ability to render details and articulation that is impossible with other methods.
To communicate this, the core of the Moddler website is an interactive gallery that displays close-up photography of each model. To maximize the available image display area, information about each model is discretely hidden in a collapsible title bar. The gallery is easily updated using the Moddler.com CMS.
