Mythos Solar Energy design and build remote power solutions for a range of industries – from Agriculture to Telecom. In 2007, they hired Manmade to design a website that would act as an interactive brochure for their products.

During the website development process we determined that the existing corporate identity did not accurately portray the company and their rugged line of power solutions.

The Mythos' executives agreed, and we began the process of designing a new identity that could be launched simultaneously with the new website.
Our primary objective was to develop an identity that would convey both the rugged, robust nature of the products and the earth-friendly energy that was produced.

Upper case typography was used to create a solid rectangular logotype. A custom symbol replaces the O in Mythos to indicate both the renewable power generated and the remote landscapes in which their power solutions are deployed.

Competitive analysis determined that the blue/green of the existing identity was unique within their specific industry niche so this was retained, but the colors were modified to create a more modern, vibrant and ownable palette.
Subsequent to the launch of the new identity and website, Mythos have retained Manmade to design a suite of brochures and communications collateral for trade shows and industry events.

An identity standards manual was developed to ensure consistent representation of the new identity across all materials.
